Just got back from a course last week held by Sektor Pengurusan Akademik. One of the items we touched on was the upcoming modular system, which may begin as early as May 2012.
STPM will forever change for the form 6. Its not going to be easier... but students have a chance to resit failed papers...at a price of RM50 per paper! And as it is per semester...there is no more last minute studying as it happens in the present.

Pengajian Am itself is estimated to be will be divided into 4 papers. Most of Paper 1 will still be intact, though some parts may be hacked off. Questions will be provided by MPM but teachers will be marking them (under strict supervision by MPM). There will be objective , subjective and essay questions...but only the current Papar 1 Kenegaraan components will be seen in Semester 1. Oh, by the way... we also have research!!
